Terms of Purchase - Event Tickets

Who We Are

Tickets are sold by Munelle Limited (company no. SC737348), trading as Munelle School of Performing Arts, registered in Scotland. Contact: support@munelle.com.

Contract & Scope

These terms govern any purchase of tickets for our events (including digital tickets/e-tickets). By purchasing, you accept these terms on your behalf and on behalf of any attendee you buy for.

Non-Refundability (Priority Clause)

Tickets are non-refundable and non-cancellable once purchased except where (a) the event is cancelled by us, (b) we reschedule and you cannot reasonably attend the new date, or (c) a statutory right requires otherwise.
Legal note: Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, the 14-day cooling-off right does not apply to leisure services for a specific date or period. Our policy is intended to align with that exemption and the Consumer Rights Act 2015 fairness requirements.

Exchanges & Transfers

We may, at our discretion, permit a like-for-like exchange or name transfer before the event (fees may apply). We are not obliged to do so.

Delivery of Tickets

We may or may not issue a physical ticket. Email order confirmation or equivalent e-ticket/QR code constitutes your ticket and licence for entry. Keep it safe and present it (with ID if requested). We are not responsible for non-delivery due to incorrect email, filters, or device issues, but will reasonably assist with re-sending.

Price & Payment

Prices include applicable taxes unless stated. Obvious pricing errors may be corrected; if a correction materially affects your order you may cancel for a full refund. Orders are confirmed only after successful payment authorisation.

Admission & Venue Rules

  • Admission is subject to venue capacity, security screening, and adherence to our health & safety instructions.

  • We may refuse or revoke admission (with or without refund) for breach of these terms, intoxication, abusive behaviour, safety concerns, illegal resale, or fraud.

  • Latecomers may be admitted at a suitable break; seating is not guaranteed after start time.

  • Prohibited items: weapons, illegal substances, professional recording equipment, or any item we consider unsafe.

  • Children/minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult unless we state otherwise.

Seating & Changes to Event

We may allocate or change seats within the same price band, adjust running order, casting, staging, or timing for safety, technical, or operational reasons. Such non-material changes do not entitle you to a refund. If we materially change the event (e.g., significant time/date change), you may request a refund within the period we specify.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

If we cancel, you will receive a refund of the ticket price (and standard booking fee, if any). If we reschedule, your ticket will be valid for the new date; if you cannot reasonably attend, we’ll refund upon request by the stated deadline. We are not liable for ancillary costs (travel, accommodation, etc.).

Force Majeure

We are not liable for delay, alteration, or cancellation caused by events beyond our reasonable control (including but not limited to extreme weather, power failure, epidemic/pandemic and related restrictions, industrial action, fire, flood, terrorism, acts of government, venue unavailability). Where feasible we will reschedule or offer a refund of the ticket price.

Conduct, Photography & Recordings

  • Audience recordings: Personal, non-disruptive photography is allowed only if the venue permits; flash, tripods, and professional equipment are prohibited unless we approve in writing.

  • Our recordings: The event may be filmed/photographed/streamed. By attending, you (and any minor attendee you accompany) consent to being included as an audience member in such recordings and to our worldwide use of that footage for promotional and archival purposes without payment. (This does not grant us rights over performers beyond separate performer/parent consents.)

  • IP: All event content, branding, and materials are our intellectual property; no commercial use without our permission.

Accessibility

We aim to make events accessible. Please contact us in advance with any accessibility requirements so we can make reasonable adjustments where possible.

Data Protection

We process personal data (e.g., contact, purchase, access control) as a controller under the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. See our Privacy Notice for details of purposes, lawful bases, retention, and your rights.

Ticket Misuse & Resale

Tickets may not be used for advertising, promotions, competitions, or resale above face value without our prior written consent. We may cancel tickets we reasonably believe were obtained fraudulently or in breach of this clause.

Risk & Indemnity

You attend at your own risk, subject to mandatory consumer protections. You agree to indemnify and hold us, the venue, and our staff harmless from claims, loss, or damage arising from your breach of these terms, unlawful conduct, or negligence.

Liability Cap

We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under law. Otherwise, our total liability to you relating to the ticket and event shall not exceed the amount paid for your ticket(s).

Communications & Notices

We may provide information and notices via the email provided at purchase, on our website, or at the venue. Please keep your contact details up to date.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will apply to future purchases and will be posted on our website with the “Last updated” date. For significant changes affecting an already-purchased ticket, we will provide reasonable notice to the contact email on your order; if you do not agree, your remedy is to seek a refund where permitted under these terms.

Governing Law

These terms and any dispute arising out of them are governed by the laws of Scotland, and the Scottish courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction (without affecting any mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence within the UK).

Last updated and effective from 04/10/25.
